We are now entering week four of the “Faith Is the Victory” canvassing campaign, and the Lord has already done far more than we could have imagined. What began as a step of faith has become a powerful season of outreach—both for the students participating and for the many communities we have been privileged to visit.
Day after day, students go out prayerfully, trusting the Lord to lead them to the very homes where hearts are searching for hope. They are meeting people from every walk of life, praying with families, sharing words of encouragement, and placing truth-filled literature into homes. Time and again we have seen that God is already at work before the students ever knock on the door.
This work is far more than simply distributing books. It is truly a ministry of soul-winning. Through these experiences the students are learning to depend entirely upon the Lord, to speak with kindness and wisdom, and to develop a genuine burden for the salvation of others. Each day in the field becomes a living classroom where faith, perseverance, humility, and love for souls are being cultivated.
Throughout these weeks we have witnessed many divine appointments—individuals who were searching for answers, people burdened with trials who welcomed prayer, and homes where hearts were open to receive truth. These moments remind us that the Lord Himself is going before His workers, preparing the way for seeds of truth to be planted.
The Scriptures remind us of the sacred importance of this work:
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” — Proverbs 11:30
The Spirit of Prophecy also speaks clearly about the nature of this ministry:
“The canvassing work, properly conducted, is missionary work of the highest order, and it is as good and successful a method as can be employed for placing before the people the important truths for this time…” — Colporteur Ministry, p. 6
